Teresa Hipólito
Research Assistant, Australia
Teresa joined Pacific Whale Foundation in 2022. As a Research Assistant in Australia, Teresa will assist with fieldwork and photo-ID data processing. She has a Master’s degree in Marine Biology and Ecology from James Cook University in Australia. Teresa has participated in marine conservation projects and worked for NGOs in her home country of Portugal, as well as in Brazil and Greece. Most recently, she worked as a marine mammal observer for Flinders University in Townsville, Queensland, contributing to anthropogenic impact studies of Australian humpback and snubfin dolphins.
