Lauren Spencer

Lauren joined Pacific Whale Foundation as a Marine Naturalist in 2021 and moved to the Education team as an Education Specialist in 2022. From a young age, Lauren was passionate about the beautiful outdoors and nature, specifically the ocean after watching Lilo and Stitch and Finding Nemo as a child. This love continued as she completed her B.S. in Marine Biology from Hawaii Pacific University in 2019. Excited to share her love for the ocean with others, she continued her education at Otterbein University, completing a Masters of Education focused on Informal Science Education. Working in a variety of informal science education jobs, Lauren is excited to bring her diverse experience to PWF. She is specifically focused on creating educational pursuits and programs focused on diversity, equity and inclusion.
